    Oil and stone driveways are the best choice if you want
    that country road look without the maintenance of a gravel
    driveway. We achieve this by apply one coat of cationic
    emulsion on top of existing asphalt, then spread a coat of
    decorative stone and roll to ensure a true bond. Some
    things to keep in mind for an oil and stone driveway are:
  • They are not good for playing on.
  • The stone has a tendency to migrate on corners. Crushed
    stone less than a washed round stone.
  • They do require some maintenance depending on the
    amount of traffic.
  • Oil and stone driveway are a good choice if you do not like
    the look of a black driveway. There are many stone
    choices. The most common stone choice for oil & stone
    driveways are native stone, and blue stone.
