Step 1: Remove existing Asphalt from Driveway
Depending on the size of your driveway removing the asphalt is generally accomplished by loading the asphalt into a dump truck with a hydraulic excavator. This asphalt is recycled to make base material for new driveways.
Step 2: rough Grading the existing base material and Fine grading.
After the asphalt is removed we need to rough grade the existing base material. This is accomplished with an excavator with a blade attachment or a motor grader. Once the driveway is rough graded we then compact the material with a vibratory roller . Then we begin fine grading. We truck in usually around two inches of recycled processed aggregate spread and compact again.
Step 3:Masonry Accents- Optional
If you choose we can add Belgian block curbing or purhaps a Belgian block apron at the entrance of your driveway.
